Zain was born and raised in Houston, TX and received his Bachelors in Accounting and Finance at University of Houston and his Masters in Business Administration at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX. Zain has spent his career as a finance professional and currently resides in Chicago, IL working for a reputable consulting and professional services firm.

Zain started his involvement by serving on the board for several student organizations such as UH MSA, SMU MSA, MIST Houston and serving as Regional Director of MIST Dallas. During Bernie’s 2020 campaign, Zain lead the efforts for Muslims for Bernie in Texas and managed Media Relations for Bernie’s visit to Houston.
